What is the relationship between Anorexia and menstrual cycles?
Well … so I've been in a state of anorexia for about a month and a half the time of my period has come and gone. I have 13 days late (which is a time for me) and I am concerned that for lack of food. Do you think you just jump? or is it lack of food?
Female athletes often experience lack of periods due to the intense activity. poor diet can effect periods, although reasons not entirely clear. If you miss a few months in a row, usually advised to see a doctor and rule out any condition physics that can cause it. You should probably see a doc anyway and get it nipped in the bud anorexia. lack of menstruation would be the least of your worries.
